After two years of virtual WordCamps, WordCamp US (WCUS) is going live and in person this year! Events like WordCamp are a great way to improve your skills and connect with people who really understand the WordPress projects and problems you work on every day. We know that the cost of conference travel can discourage people from attending events like WordCamp. So, we’re excited to announce our 2022 WCUS Travel Scholarship Program, designed to help you join us in San Diego this year!
Travel Scholarship Program Details
What we offer
We have three travel scholarships that provide $1,500 in attendance costs WordCamp USA 2022September 9-11 in San Diego, California. You may use these funds to best meet your needs, including but not limited to: accommodation, meals, airfare and transit, or other travel expenses.
When applications are open
Our applications are open now through June 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM EDT. Travel scholarship winners will be notified by June 14, 2022.

- Are you passionate about WordPress?
- I need financial support to attend WordCamp US
- I have never attended a WordCamp USA event
- I want to connect with the WordPress community
The travel scholarship form is now closed.
What happens after you apply?
InMotion Hosting will review all applications and selected winners will hear from us June 14, 2022. Travel funds will be paid via PayPal.

WordCamp USA 2022 It will be held on September 9-11 Town and Country Resort in San Diego. Conveniently located near San Diego International Airport, the beach and downtown, this place will charm you with its retro style and incredible history. However, if you prefer to stay at another hotel, there are plenty of other options available on site with public transportation.
COVID-19 guidelines
WordCamp US (WCUS) will follow COVID-19 guidelines For San Diego, California. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available for attendees, and some activities, such as lunch, will be held outdoors.
WCUS set The following requirements In person for the event:
- All attendees are required to be vaccinated or have recently tested negative for Covid-19.
- Due to the size and nature of this event, masks must be worn both over the mouth and over the nose while inside.
